Fig A.  END-FRAME LEVELER JACK Part No. 3948-FBLJ1  Provides up to 11” of leveling adjustment for the scaffold on uneven grades.  Inserts into the bottom of standard 3948 base or regular endframes. Fig. B  VARIABLE BASE LEVELER JACK Part No. 3948-VBLJ2  Provides up to 17” of leveling adjustment for the scaffold on uneven grades.  Inserts into the bottom of standard 3948 base and regular endframes. Use with 6”x6” Base Pads or 8” Locking Swivel Casters. Fig. C  LOCKING SWIVEL CASTER with BRAKE Part No. 3948-LSC1 Equipped with 8” solid rubber tire. Must be pin mounted under Variable Base Leveler Jack.  Mounting hardware included. TIEBRACES:  Designed to secure scaffolds greater than 16 feet in height to a building or other structure.  Braces must be attached on scaffold columns at the closest horizontal member to the 16 ft. height at each end of the scaffold and at horizontal intervals not to exceed 30 feet measures from one end (not both) toward the other. Fig. D  SCAFFOLD TIEBRACES Part No. 3948-TB13 Adjustable standoff length up to 13”. Mounting hardware included. Part No. 3948-TB36 Adjustable standoff length up to 36”  TOEBOARDS:  Toeboards are required for all decks or platforms higher than ten (10) feet in order to keep small objects from falling off the the scaffold deck onto anyone below.  Two Endframe -Toeboards are required for each deck working level.  Clevis and integral guide pins secure the End Toeboard to the endframe columns. Fig. E  ENDFRAME TOEBOARDS Part No.  3948-ETB1 Provides a fixed mounted end toeboard between the columns on 3948 Endframe. NOTE: Two (2) Side Toeboards (3948- STB1) are included as part of the Scaffold Plank Set (3948-SPS).
